The new BF2 1.02 Patch is out get it here

Now I just installed the patch over my game + 1.01 patch + 1.02 patch, the game runs fine with no issues that I'm aware of. I had no issues (per se, nothing other than anyone else has had with previous patch/default install). I will keep you posted of any issues and their fixes and they arise and develop.

As I promised here is one issue people seem to be having, which is they are having install issues, and I have located a fix/s try this link here

NOTE: Upon installing v1.02 you will see references to v1.01. You are not installing v1.01 but are installing v1.02 (referenced in the game browser as 2484)

Ok EA has major issues with the new patch it seems. You need to uninstall the game and reinstall. What does this mean you ask? Well any issues you had before the patch released will return and you wont be able to go into servers using Gamespy or ASE or even See Me Play Me.
